Game Recap

Maple Mountain had their second home game with rival Salem Hills. Salem Hills and Maple Mountain are now in different regions and classifications but still have a strong rivalry.

Today the rivalry was set aside as the Maple Mountain players payed tribute to Salem Hills soccer player Niki Finau who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. The Maple Mountain players presented pink roses to the Salem Hills players and wore pink headbands. Maple Mountain Wishes her a full recovery.

Maple Mountain had 3 goals in the first half, one from Brynlie Ivie one from Chloe Martin and a one from Anna Pickering. Af the beginning of the second half Anna Pickering had her second Goal.

Kayla Thompson had the shutout.

Maple Mountain plays Wasatch on August 29 with the first region game of the season.
